Yes. The Roswell First Responders Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 93-4909263), and we received our official determination on December 29th, 2023. Because of that status, your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and you'll receive a receipt by email right after you donate.

We support the police officers, firefighters, and paramedics who serve the City of Roswell, and their families when they need it most. Your support funds direct financial assistance during hardship, supplementary equipment and training, and community programs that recognize and honor our local heroes.

Our work centers on three pillars: financial assistance for first responders and their families during hardship, recognition and honor for those who show exceptional bravery and commitment, and supplementary equipment and training that helps our responders perform at their best. Together, they strengthen the bond between Roswell and its heroes.

The Foundation was founded in 2023 and earned its 501(c)(3) status that same year, but our roots run deeper. Michael and Roxie Hernandez began serving free meals to Roswell first responders during the week of September 11th back in 2002, a tradition the community still continues today.

You can give securely online from our Donate page in just a minute. Choose a one-time or recurring gift in any amount. We also welcome event sponsorships, corporate partnerships, and in-kind donations. However you give, every dollar goes straight to supporting Roswell's first responders.

Absolutely. On our Donate page you can choose a recurring monthly gift instead of a one-time donation. Monthly giving provides steady, dependable support that helps us plan ahead for the first responders and families who count on us, and you can adjust or cancel your gift at any time.

Every gift turns into real support. A $25 gift provides a meal for a first responder's family in crisis, $100 contributes to emergency financial assistance, $250 helps fund supplementary training equipment, and $500 sponsors a family for a full month of support. Any amount makes a difference.

Every dollar raised goes straight back into supporting Roswell's first responders through direct financial assistance, equipment, and community programs. We have no paid employees, only volunteers, so your support reaches the people who keep our city safe.

There are several ways to partner with us. Local businesses can become corporate partners, sponsor one of our events, or make an in-kind donation of goods or services. Yes. The Foundation runs on donations and sponsorships, and we'd be happy to discuss the options with you. We offer several sponsorship tiers across our events. Select "Sponsorship" from the contact form dropdown, let us know which event interests you, and we'll reach out to build a package that fits your goals.

Many Roswell first responders also run businesses in the community. Hire a Hero is our directory that helps you find and support them, so you can hire local while backing the people who keep our city safe. Listings are a courtesy, and each business operates independently of the Foundation.

The community wants to support our first responders! If you're a Roswell first responder with a business, send in your company and contact information along with your logo, photos, and social links.
